HomeBuddy Overview

We are a Referral Service available to assist you in the search for a domestic service position, live-in or live-out. We are strictly a source for referring you to client families who are searching for domestic employees. There is no cost to you to apply with our service.

Below are general job descriptions of the type of work you can apply for through our service. Job Descriptions

Nanny

Nannies are employed primarily to take care of children, along with child-related housekeeping and tasks. In general a nanny's duties include: caring for the children, doing children's laundry, assisting in meal preparation or cooking and cleaning up children's and / or family's meals, making children's beds, picking up children's toys, and driving children to and from school and activities. A nanny must be able to communicate well with both the children and parents.

$12-$18/hr.

Mother's Helpers

Mothers Helper Jobs at HomeBuddies and Nanny Minnesota

Mother’s Helpers will work while a parent is at home and assist the parent in caring for the children as well as light housekeeping. Mother’s Helpers can be hired to assist with children’s birthday parties or be brought along for extra help on family outings.

$9-$12/hr

Housekeeper Jobs at HomeBuddies and Nanny Minnesota

Housekeeper

Your housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all rooms in the house: vacuuming, washing floors, dusting, neatening up. Housekeepers also do laundry, plant care and may do some cooking.

$16-$30 hr.

Personal Assistant

Personal Assitant Jobs at HomeBuddies and Nanny Minnesota

Personal Assistants will be responsible for a variety of domestic administrative projects such as: balancing family check book, paying bills, sorting mail, organizational projects, personal errands, scheduling appointments, managing calendar, household shopping, party planning and travel planning.

$14-$25

Personal Chef

Personal Chefs can be hired to come in daily to cook all family meals or can be hired for special occasions such as parties and holiday meals. Personal Chefs will also prepare meals that can be frozen and reheated at a later date. Personal Chefs will create menus or use menus you have prepared. They will shop for the food, prepare it, serve it if you’d like and then clean up the kitchen afterwards.

$20/hr +

* We select applicants based upon maturity, experience and reliability. You must be able to communicate effectively and express an enthusiasm for providing domestic services, while making a positive contribution to the family environment.
